How do I set up a selling page on Visit Wadebridge?
Any person 18 years or above can set up a selling page on Visit Wadebridge. We ask that you and/or your business are based in or around the Wadebridge area within 5 miles of the town or in the PL27 postcode.

How much does it cost to sell through Visit Wadebridge?
The price to have a vendor account on Visit Wadebridge is £10/month. You will however receive your first two months subscription for free.
Your vendor account will be invoiced on a monthly rolling basis from your signup date, with payment being due 60 days from your signup date. Subscriptions will automatically renew via a Paypal Subscription Agreement that will be created when you first register as a marketplace vendor. Should the subscription fail to renew, your marketplace vendor account will be cancelled immediately.
Will there be a commission taken on products sold through the Visit Wadebridge site?
No - we take no commission on sales. Your subscription is the only fee and there is no commission on top.
Once I sign up can I cancel at any time?
Yes you can cancel your account at any point and your subscription will finish at the end of the last month that you paid for.
How many products can I add to my page?
Product numbers are unlimited.
Can I sell to people outside of my town?
Yes you can - it is however up to you to decide on postage methods and costs - these can be assigned within your vendor page.
I only have large items that I don't want to post - can I do local pick up?
Yes within your vendor account you can select local pick or click and collect for your products.
How do I add photos to my selling page?
As you add products within your vendor page you will see a browse and upload button to add images to your product page. The website will automatically resize your images - images are cropped to a square shape.
How do I accept payments from customers?
Payments to vendors from customers will be made using Paypal. You will therefore need a Paypal account in order to use our system. When a marketplace vendor receives an order for a product, the buyer pays the marketplace vendor directly via their PayPal account using the PayPal integration provided by our systems. This transaction is handled by PayPal, and Visit Wadebridge does not have access to any sensitive payment details.
Will there be payment processing fees?
Yes we are using Paypal so their standard payment processing fees will apply. Please refer to the Paypal website for more details on this.
How do refunds work?
Where refunds are agreed between a buyer and a marketplace vendor our system allows for you to record a refund for your administrative purposes, it is unable to implement refunds. This is an action that you must take within the administration panel of your PayPal account.
We recommend that as a vendor you set out your returns policy within your shop page.
Are there any limits to what I can sell?
- The following items are not permitted on the Visit Wadebridge Marketplace:
- Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, and Medical Drugs
- Animal Products and Human Remains
- Dangerous Items: Hazardous Materials, Recalled Items, and Weapons
- Hate Items: Items that Promote, Support, or Glorify Hatred
- Illegal Items, Items Promoting Illegal Activity, and Highly Regulated Items
- Internationally Regulated Items
- Pornography and Mature Content
- Violent Items: Items that Promote, Support, or Glorify Violence
How will I know if a product has sold?
Once a customer has placed an order and completed the payment process you will receive an email informing you of the sale. This email will contain details on the customers preferred delivery option and postage details if applicable.
Will the website manage my stock levels?
Yes it will manage stock levels of products and once all instances of a product have been sold the website will show the product as being sold out - customers will not be able to buy this product.
Can I add a link to my own website?
Yes you can add this in your shop/trader description
What happens to my card details.
As the payments are managed securely via Paypal we have no access to your payment details at any time.
