We’re very sad to have to announce that, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, this year’s Cornwall Folk Festival will be postponed until 2021.

The new dates are Fri 27th - Mon 30th August 2021.

48th Cornwall Folk Festival

This town centre festival has been held every year in Wadebridge since 1972.

It runs over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and consists of main evening concerts with some of folk's finest, local and regional acts at the 'FAR Stage' behind Wadebridge Wines during the day (Sat-Mon), and sessions and live music in local pubs, cafes and in the street.

They also run music and dance workshops.

Last year it programmed over 170 hours of music and dance -- that's more hours than there are in a week! -- of which two-thirds was free of charge.

The main concerts in the town hall open with the perfect pairing of O’Hooley and Tidow, whose music reached millions on TV as the accompaniment to the closing sequence of TV drama ‘Gentleman Jack’.

Scotland’s finest songwriter Dougie Maclean returns on Saturday 29th, a performer who can truly hold an audience in the palm of his hand.

Merry Hell have delighted festival audiences across the UK in recent years with their uplifting, rock-based folk, and join the stage with the hard-hitting songs of powerful duo Winter Wilson.

The final concert is a double take on traditional with one of Ireland’s finest Gatehouse crossing the water to join the youthful maverick energy of Granny’s Attic.
